Potassium:

It can lower blood pressure in people with high blood pressure. It can also have a big positive impact on our cardiovascular health.

Vitamin B6:

Benefits including stimulating co-enzymatic activities, protecting the immune system, and having positive effects on metabolism, premenstrual syndrome, hormone control, emotional disorders, skin. One medium-size banana can provide up to 33% of the RDI.

VITAMIN B9/FOLATE:

Banana Oats Cookie.

Ingredients

  1. 2 scoop protein powder,
  2. 1 cup oats (ground)
  3. 1 egg,
  4. half mashed banana,
  5. 1/4c cacao nibs,
  6. a 1/2c 0 calorie sweetener,
  7. 1 tsp baking powder.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all the ingredients.
  3. The mixture should be like sticky cookie dough.
  4. Spray baking sheet with nonstick spray.
  5. Drop dough by large tablespoons onto cookie sheet; flatten a bit with a rubber spatula. Bake for 9-12 minutes or until cookies are set.
  6. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
  7. Enjoy!
